boost your energy and enthusiasm

  1. take a deep breath- practise everyday for 15 minutes whenever you feel stressed. let the air fill your chest and abdomen and release slowly.
  2. meditate- find a quiet place and sit comfortable and relax. focus on a neutral word. when you get distracted come back to the neutral word, image, symbol, picture.
  3. do some slow stretches- it helps move blood into the boday and oxygen into the brain.
  4. respect your body clock- determine your prime times, and save critical tasks for your high energy periods.
  5. try eating smaller and more frequent meals- this helps maintain blood sugar in the body.avoid fatty foods like icecreams, heavy sauces, sweets.
  6. get more sunlight- this maintains the body clock.
  7. stand up straight- keep your weight in the middle of the body. keep your head over your pelvis, ears over your shoulders and the small of your back forward. if you sit at a computer, your eyes should be with the middle of the screen.
  8. re-examine your sleeping habits- how much sleep is enough for you? see how you feel when you wake up? what time do you goto sleep? what time do you wake up? how do you feel when you get up?
