Who was Peter Drucker?

Peter Drucker was one of the world's most respected thinkers on management and society. Peter Drucker had a great way with words. He distilled meaningful concepts into short phrases more effectively than any other management guru. The concepts and philosophies he developed have shaped modern management thinking. He wrote over 30 books and articles about innovation, entrepreneurship and strategies for dealing with a changing world; "Because the purpose of business is to create and keep a customer, the business enterprise has two--
and only two--basic functions: marketing and innovation. Marketing and innovation produce results; all the rest are costs. Marketing is the distinguishing, unique function of the business." Drucker was born in Vienna, and educated there and in England. He received a doctorate in international law while working as a newspaper reporter in Frankfurt, Germany. He remained in Germany until 1933, when one of his essays was banned by the Nazi regime. For a time, he worked as an economist for a bank in London, and then moved to the United States in 1937. In the early 1940s, General Motors invited Drucker to study its inner workings. That experience led to his 1946 management book "Concept of the Corporation." For many years GM ignored nearly every recommendation in the book even though its own executives had commissioned it. This seminal study introduced the concept of decentralisation as a principle of organisation, in contrast to the practice of command and control in business. Drucker reported he was told that any manager found with a copy
would be fired. The ideas in this book however, launched the field of management and essentially created the field of consulting.
In "The Practice of Management,(1954)" Drucker posed three now-classic business questions:

· What is our business?

· Who is our customer?

· What does our customer consider valuable?

He coined the terms "knowledge workers" and "management by objectives." Central to his philosophy was the belief that highly skilled people are an organisation's most valuable resource and that a manager's job is to prepare and free people to perform. In the early 1950s, when other business leaders thought the worldwide market for computers was in the single digits, he predicted that computer technology would thoroughly transform business.

Some useful Drucker quotes;

· The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service
fits him and sells itself.

· Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.

· Checking the results of a decision against its expectations shows executives what their
strengths are, where they need to improve, and where they lack knowledge or information.

· The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn't said.

· Trying to predict the future is like trying to drive down a country road at night with no lights
while looking out the back window.

Assertive- General Advice

EXPECT SURPRISE AND EVEN OPPOSITION
it has taken a lifetime to get you to behave the way you do now, so do not expect to change overnight. Also remember that those who are close to you will not expect your behaviour to change. THEIR MAY BE OTHERS WHO HAVE A VESTED INTEREST IN KEEPING YOU NON-ASSERTIVE OR AGGRESSIVE.

this means that when you decide to change your behaviour, as well as disciplining yourself, you must also expect surprise, even opposition, from others who know and have a vested interest in the 'OLD YOU'

BY THE INCH ITS A CINCH BUT BY THE YARD IT IS VERY HARD
it is unwise to set yourself too ambitious targets- start with acorns and let them grow slowly in oaks. go for small increments of change and build on them.

EXPECT FAILURE AND USE IT
failure is a part of change. when you try anything new, but especially behaviour, it is unlikely that you will get it right the first time. You get it wrong before you get it right. Be both realistic and resilient when you fail. If at first you dont succeed, try harder.
remember success only comes before work in a dictionary!!

ALLOW FOR SLIPPAGE
when you squeeze a ball you create an indentation, but the stop the ball reverts to its original size and shape. Human behaviour is just like the ball- it will revert back to its old comfortable ways. So expect slippage, but do not give in to it.

IT TAKES TIME
Behaviour changes slowly. Crash diets or crash exercises do not work, nor do crash behaviour changes. Just think about the simple skill of learning to drive, with the hours of instruction and practice it requires. To become assertive takes just as much time and effort, perhaps even more.

REMEMBER
THOUGHTS lead to
ACTIONS which lead to
HABITS which lead to
CHARACHTER which leads to
PERSONALITY which leads to
THE NEW YOU

JUST AS FOR SMOKERS THE BODY FIGHTS AGAINST GIVING UP NICOTINE, SO YOUR PRESENT MINDSET WILL RESIST YOU MAKING CHANGES. IT WILL TAKE TIME FOR YOU SETTLE DOWN TO THE NEW ASSERTIVE YOU.

SET SMART GOALS

S - Specific- define exactly what you want
M - Measurable- what will be the success criteria
A - Appropriate- ensure they are appropriate to you
R - Realistic- they must be feasible
T - Timebound- by when are you going to do it

goals are dreams that you are going to make real. they are no miracles- you wont be the first person to fly by flapping your arms. if you were not born in America you cannot be President. If you are 55 you are not likely to be an Olympic swimmer. But you can easily be assertive by:

Stating what you want
Stating your limits
Saying 'No'
Getting what you pay for
Demanding respect
Changing your mind
Giving a speech or presentation

MOST PEOPLE FIND COMMITTING THEIR GOALS TO WRITING VERY HELPFUL

TIP
keep a log book or journal where you can record your thoughts, objectives, goals and learning points. It is good discipline and will help you marshal your thoughts, and be more specific and focused. It is also very motivating to look back and see what you have achieved.

Dissatisfaction and how to conquer it

HOW TO CONQUER IT:
take a walk on the top of a steep hill, stop thinking, concentrate on your breathing and your senses, put all your effort into it and stop thinking.
think about your achievements till date. make a list of them.
talk to someone who is satisfied with their life.
use logical thinking to RATIONALISE your thoughts
everyday tell yourself you are GREAT!!
MEDITATE, MEDITATE, MEDITATE
exercise, run, jog, walk
music, movies, art
practise affirmations, mantras, sing loud, read aloud
talk to people, friends, connect

KNOW YOUR OWN MIND
is your thinking driven by what others are doing?

KNOW WHERE YOU STAND
change your mindset rather than yourself

KNOW YOUR WANTS NOT NEEDS
focus on your wants not on your needs

MAKE A CHECKLIST OF YOUR NEEDS AND WANTS

FIND OUT WHAT DRIVES YOU?

SPEND MORE TIME ABOUT WHAT YOU REALLY, REALLY, REALLY WANT!!

KNOW YOUR VALUES AND TRUE NATURE

BE REALISTIC AND GROUNDED

LIVE UPTO YOUR OWN EXPECTATIONS AND GOALS

RELAX, PRAY TO GOD, MEDITATE

DONT LET THE PRESSURE GET BETTER OF YOU

This is a characterstic of many people who feel that whatever they achieve in life is not good enough.

The feelings are of:
emptiness (a hole)
as if something is missing (they need to keep achieving)
inferior to others
that everything they have achieved (all their successes) is meaningless
discontented and unsettled

They:
feel tensed all day
experience a general anxiety and a fear that something bad is going to happen
compare themselves to others on a daily basis
live in the past or the future
dont trust, are suspicious and feel cheated
feel guilty if they get off the treadmill or dont live up to other people's expectations
they exhaust themselves because they cant stop the thoughts which echo: keep going, improve, perfect

REASONS:
the need to keep up with other people

fear that if you relax and enjoy yourself something will happen to take it away

an inner voice saying just a bit more, you are not there yet

being told from an early age that great things are expected of you

being unrealistic in your goals and personal ambitions

living by other people's values and not your own

fogging

when someone is putting pressure on you to do something that you can not, or that is not in your best interest, against your nature, and you would rather not do it. The best way to put up a response is by fogging.

Listen to what the person says, and decide whether or not you wish to comply. If not then using their words, or similar, acknowledge their need but state your case.

In this way you show the person that you have understood their request, but that you are not going to comply.

This method is a very polite method of saying "NO"

I need this- I am sure you do but it is just not possible now.

This is important- Of Course it is important but not as important as...

You should help me- Perhaps I should but right now I have other priorites..

I want it now- I can see why you would want that but my priority is...

by using this technique you are less likely to be manipulated into doing something you would rather not and yet you cannot be accused of recognising the other person's need.

my valentine!!!!

26th October Diary

too much knowledge kills action, it kills the ability to produce, to do something, to take action, to create, to redproduce, to develop, to innovate, to make an advancement

IGNORANCE IS BLISS

sometimes, DARKNESS IS BETTER THAN LIGHT

knowledge makes you afraid as you become aware of all the risks and cons and threats, this will make you FEARFUL AND AFRAID and thus you will start playing safe

TO SUCCEED OR TO DO SOMETHING OR TO CREATE SOMETHING AND MAKE MONEY ITS BETTER TO JUST GO AHEAD EVEN IF YOU ARE GOING TO FALL, AND FALL HARD, ITS NO USE ASKING THOUSAND PEOPLE WHO THEMSELVES ARE AFRAID, HAVE NO FAITH, NO SELF BELEIF, CONFIDENCE, LIVE IN DOUBT, HAVE TOO MUCH HEAD AND LOGIC AND KNOWLEDGE

if you believe in something JUST GO AHEAD AND DO IT, IT MAY TAKE TIME, BUT YOU WILL FIND THE WAY

WHEN THE PASSION, HEART AND PURPOSE GETS STRONGER AND CLEARER THE OBJECT AND THE GOAL BECOMES EASIER

FIND NEW AND MORE AND INNOVATIVE WAYS TO MAKE MONEY

EVERYONE IS DOING IT, YOU ALSO DO IT

BREAK THE RULES, BEND THE RULES, THERE ARE NO RULES AT THE END OF THE DAY, ITS ONLY BELIEFS, AND SELF BELIEFS

EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD IS UP FOR SALE

COPY AND STEAL, IN THE MARKET PLACE, THERE IS SPACE FOR EVERYTHING, THERE ARE BUYERS AND SELLERS AND PEOPLE BUY EVERTHING, EVEN TRASH HAS A VALUE, THINGS ARE RECYCLED, SO EVEN IF YOU COPY SOMETHING AND REPACKAGE AND RESTYLE AND SELL IT, IN SMALL NUMBERS OR LARGE NUMBERS, TO SMALL PEOPLE, OR BIG PEOPLE, FOR SMALL MARGIN OR LARGE MARGIN, YOU CAN STILL MAKE MONEY- THE QUESTION IS OF JUST DOING IT!!

EVERYTHING IS UP FOR SALE, EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE, SO IF YOU CAN SELL IT, THEN DO IT
IF YOU CAN BUY IT, THEN BUY IT
IF YOU CAN HAVE IT, THEN HAVE IT
IF YOU WANT SOMETHING REALLY REALLY ENOUGH, YOU WILL FIND WAYS TO GET IT

AT THE END OF THE DAY ITS GUTS, COURAGE, PERSISTENCE, SELF BELIEF, POSITIVISM, SKILLS, ATTITUDE, ABILITIES TO MANAGE, SPEECH, COMMUNICATION, TALKING, LISTENING, EMPATHY, EMOTIONS, LITTLE BIT OF HEAD AND COMMONSENSE AND LOGIC, note that common sense will always be negative and against you and that is the reason it is called common sense...
common sense is very good to play safe and carry one something, its not good for creation, development and expansion
differential, small, creative and unconventional sense is the point of view that is good for creation, development and expansion

copy and make whatever you can, japan did it and now they are original and inventors, china is doing it and soon they will become inventors and original when the money flows in and they become rich to hire research, development and creative staff, resources.

just copy- copy from books, web, articles, papers, magazines, reports- WRITE, write your own book. USE IT FOR PUBLISHING, MAKING MONEY, TRAINING, MANAGEMENT MATERIAL, TOOLS, SPEAKING, MOTIVATION. self publish it, write articles for some media and publish and get paid, ONE THING AND STEP WILL SLOWLY LEAD TO ANOTHER. YOU HAVE TO TAKE ACTION AND CONVERT YOUR THOUGHTS AND PLANS INTO PRACTICE FOR IT TO BECOME AN END PRODUCT.
try creative writing, express your ideas, your fantasy, your imagination, just write whatever comes into your mind, give shape later, write a screen play,
start your own company, website, give consultancy, image consultancy, brand consultancy, public relations services, call yourself a guru, marketing consultancy, everyone is doing it
call yourself an artist, goto galleries, work for them for free, organise
USE ALL YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND POTENTIAL TO MAKE MONEY AND CHARGE SO THAT YOU CAN GET AN INCOME
PUBLISH AND WRITE BOOK, OFFER CONSULTANCY SERVICES, SPEAK, NETWORK

eventually you will also get more offers
when you become rich or have some money start buying properties and use that to invest in real estate, make hotel, restauarant, spa, shop, let out your properties, manage them, furnish and sell.

FIND OUT SIMILAR KINDS OF PEOPLE IN THE INDUSTRY WHO ARE DOING IT AND JUST COPY AND EMULATE THEIR STEPS AND ACTIONS, WHAT THEY DO, WHERE THEY GO, WHAT THEY LEARN, WHAT THEY EAT, WHAT ARE THEIR HABITS, WHAT ARE THEIR HOBBIES, HOW THEY MAKE MONEY, HOW MUCH THEY MAKE, WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS, WORK, STRUCTURES THEY HAVE, HOW MUCH TIME DO THEY TAKE, WHAT CERTIFICATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS THEY ARE WITH, HOW DID THEY START, HOW THEY OPERATE, WHAT ARE THEIR VALUES, PURPOSE, ROUTINES?

LOGIC- what is logical thinking?

We all have the skill to adopt an unemotional, detached, step-by-step approach to our thinking processes.

This type of thinking is safe as there is no room for untested ideas which pop into our heads at random.

However it is easy to rely too heavyily onto logic. We need to know when to switch it off and make room for more creative and imaginative ideas.

A GOOD LOGICAL THINKER IS:
well organised
pays attention to the smallest detail
concentrates on fact and not fantasy
can work within a rigid framework
does not allow personal feelings to colour judgements
stays detached
has lots of patience to eliminate variables through reasoning
has no sudden urge to leap into unknown territory!

Logical thinking requires the ACCEPTANCE of the CONCLUSION even if it is not something we want it to be.

Logical thinking means using information for a particular purpose and not for the sake of it.

It provides a focus and clear direction whilst disciplining, stretching and challenging the mind.

It eliminates bias and opinion and will ensure fairness.

A step by step approach, testing possible links, considering all possible.

Ask Questions: WHO? WHAT? WHERE? WHEN? HOW?

It is the sound, relatively safe, process of logical thinking which dominates business life.

TIPS

LOGICAL THINKING IS LIKE CLIMBING A TREE:

be sure why you want to climb the tree- to explore is not a good enough reason for the logical thinker. THE WHY QUESTION

make sure you have the right equipment- means to reach your goal.

choose the most obvious route- where the branches appear strongest.

get a firm footing at each stage before moving on.

keep looking ahead.

ignore the branches with the juicy fruit if they are not on your route!

make sure each step has a purpose and that it is the right step to take.

once you have reached the top ie your goal that is the end of your exercise.

THE CREATIVE THINKER PLAYS TARZAN, OR THE POSITIVE THINKER WHO BELIEVES THERE IS MORE TREES TO CLIMB AND WILL ARGUE THAT YOU JUST CANT SEE IT YET!

ANOTHER WAY IS TO:

DEFINE THE PURPOSE?- WHY DO YOU WANT TO DO THIS?
DEFINE THE OBJECTIVE?- WHAT DO YOU WANT EXACTLY AND PRECISELY?
DEFINE THE VISION
DEFINE THE TIMINGS AND DEADLINES AND PERIODS AND STAGES AND DURATIONS
DEFINE THE PEOPLE
DEFINE THE PLACES
DEFINE THE ROUTE AND BLUEPRINTS AND PLANT AND STICK TO IT
ELIMINATE VARIABLES, DEDUCE OPTIONS AND COME TO THE BEST CONCLUSION
BE FIRM AND STABLE AND SOLID AND SLOW
TAKE SMALL STEPS
TAKE ATTENTION TO ALL DETAILS
SET CLEAR GOALS AND OBJECTIVES AND ACHIEVE THEM
WORK AS PER SCHEDULES AND ROUTINES AND PLANS

what are the drawbacks:
it prevents creativity
it requires paying attention to detail which is cumbersome for some
used all the time it would indicate a lack of self confidence and initiative
it can sometimes over-ride other thought processes and lead to missed opportunities
it can be time consuming

the benefit of making bad decisions...

  1. think the opposite from everyone else
  2. original ideas are created by original people, people who either through instinct or insight know the value of being different and recognize the commonplace as a dangerous place to be
  3. if you are trapped it is not because you are making the wrong decisions, it is because you are making the right ones.
  4. we try to make sensible decisions based on the facts in front of us. the problem with sensible decisions is that so is everyone else.
  5. if you always make the right decison, the safe decision, the one most people make, you will be same as everyone else.
  6. always wish life was different.
  7. i wish means would not it be nice if...
  8. i want means: if i want it enough i will get it.gettting what you want means the decisions you need to make to get to what you want. not the decisions those around you think you should make. making the safe decision is dull, predictable and leads nowhere new. the unsafe decision causes you to think and respond in a way you had not thought of, and that thought will lead to other thoughts which will help you achieve what you want. start taking bad decision and it will take you to a place where others only dream of being.
  9. always imagine before moving in
  10. its better to regret what you have done that what you have not. even when we want to be timid and play it safe, we should pause for a moment to imagine what we might be missing.
  11. have the confidence and courage to roll the dice
  12. you house of dreams is a house of dreams because you cant afford it yet! so either find a way of getting it- you will find the means, or be satisfied with dissatisfaction.
  13. life is about decisions. what ever decision you make is the only one you could make. otherwise you would make a different one. everything we do we choose. so whats there to regret?
  14. you are the person you choose to be!
  15. whatever you want you will get. but you have to want it enough to go about getting it. dreaming and talking about it wont achieve anything.
  16. there is only one person who can determine the shape of your life. who are you going to be?
  17. rock the boat
  18. before the age of thirty important things happen to us which shape the rest of our lives. the first is, we become aware of ourselves and our own thinking. we reach the age of reason. the second is, in our new found maturity we begin to think in a more adult way.
  19. recklessness and risk are not compatible with age. risk becomes something which must be carefully considered.
  20. most people are reasonable, thats why they do only reasonably well. the reasonable man adopts himself to the world. the unreasonable man adapts the world to himself- all progress depends upon the unreasonable man.

  31. when things go wrong its tempting to shift the blame- dont
  32. accept responsibility- people will appreciate it, and you will find out what you are capable of.
  33. it is better to listen carefully to what others are saying than to put up a show of your own brilliance- if you want to be interesting, be interested.
  34. how you present yourself is how others will value you.
  35. have a goal- become what you want to be before you can actually do it.

  44. most people are other people. their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.

  50. turn things upside down, or turn yourself upside down, things will start looking positive
  51. a good idea is one that happens- if it does not it is not!
  52. ideas are matter of taste. what is a good idea to someone can be bad or boring to someone else. if an idea is not taken up and used it has no value.

  63. go to work and do you earning in the school of life
  64. it is better to live in IGNORANCE than with KNOWLEDGE. solving the problem is the exciting part, not knowing the answer.

  66. some people have success and live and rest on their laurels. the lucky ones continue to live in IGNORANCE.
  67. good marks will not secure you an interesting life, your imagination will!!

Train your brain for a peak performance

Enjoy what you do.....make your work feel effortless

  1. Follow your natural rhythms. A lot of the time I resent working is because I’m trying to force myself to do something I don’t feel like doing. Naturally there will always be some things you’re not crazy about doing (like cleaning the toilet). But how often do you force yourself to work more, when you really want to relax? When you force yourself to work when you’ve promised yourself a break, you’ll likely just end up distracting yourself with other things and put off working. Then you get stressed and end up resenting work. Instead, follow your natural rhythms. When you feel like working, work. When you don’t, don’t. Don’t over complicate things.
  2. Do, don’t think. I’m going to stay true to this point and not think about writing something elaborate. Just do, stop thinking about it. Fail, make corrections later.
  3. Don’t put sugar in your tank. You wouldn’t put sugar in your gas tank right? It doesn’t make much sense to fill your body up with unhealthy fuel either. If you don’t have the energy to get the work you need to done, work will feel forced.
  4. Remove hidden roadblocks. What’s making you avoid working? What’s making your work seem like drudgery rather than joyful? It might have something to do with your beliefs about yourself. Maybe you believe you’re not good enough, smart enough or don’t have enough experience. Question your beliefs about what you can an can’t do.
  5. Only do your best. Work can easily become a chore when you’re trying to constantly be perfect. The truth is, some of your ideas might not be so great. Others will be mind blowing. If you can accept that and just do your best, you stop judging yourself. Guess what it feels like when you’re no longer picking over everything you do with a fine toothed comb? It feels extremely liberating. It feels like you can actually enjoy your experience, rather than worrying about how everything is going to turn out. That is working effortlessly.
  6. Act from your gut. When you think you have a great idea, believe it. Follow it. Chase it until you’re out of breath and can barely hold yourself up. Because if you don’t trust yourself, you’ll regret it later. The best way to live is to follow your intuition and trust life. If nothing else, trust yourself. Because if you can’t trust yourself, how can you trust your mistrust? That’s not very smart is it?
  7. Focus on what matters. Our minds are constantly pulling us in different directions. We have to wash the cat, buy more apple cinnamon oatmeal, finish writing that resignation letter to your no-longer-boss at your dead-end job, and all sorts of other things. We have a tendency to follow what’s urgent instead of what’s important. In order to get the important things done, we have to be ruthless at removing distractions. If it takes bringing a laptop (or notepad) to a cafe to write your grandiose novel, then do that. Avoid the vacuum of minutiae urgency. Remove all distractions so you can focus on the important things. I would much rather spend 4 hours working on an important project, then 4 hours spinning my wheels and scratching my head trying to figure out what I did today.
  8. Refuse to do what you don’t want to do. I often avoid working because I’m trying to do things I think I “should do.” I think I should read more because it will make me smarter. I think I should buy new clothes because it will make me cooler. I think I should work on this project because it will be good for my resume. Forget what you think you should do (except maybe… paying your rent). Do what you want to do. Other people will understand. In fact, they’ll probably envy you.

Notes on Happines, Self Discipline

  • TO be Happy you must discipline your mind and practise Self-Discipline, not force and discipline imposed by others and external environments.
  • Discipline yourself to what you should do and when you should do. It means self-mastery, self-control, self-direction. Every time you
  • practice discipline your self-esteem goes up. Every thing in life is a test- every day, every hour, every minute, so you have to keep
  • on passing the test by keeping your mind onto that test or task and then moving onto the next one.
  • You must practise the implications of your behaviour for the effect it has short term and long term, and weigh both the sides.
  • You must repeat actions to discipline your mind and train your mind and cultivate self-discipline and success.
  • Repetetions is the secret of success.
  • Anger is a destructive code, you must understand this impulse and take immediate causal action to prevent it.
  • Prevention is the best action or solution to the problem.
  • Things go wrong often in Life, so practise Surrender to give up control and be happy. Give up resistence. Use the power of Now.
  • Surrender makes you feel peaceful, gives up hot feelings, controls anger, hatred, destruction, gives you a clearer vision and picture
  • of things and what needs to be done. It makes you relaxed and happier and builds relationships and joy.
  • Learn from nature, how seasons and nature unfolds slowly, do not resist the powers of nature, work your way and goals with it, across it, along it, do not fight it, be peaceful. Nature and Time is the best master.
  • The cycle of life is cause and effect.
  • To prevent a certain effect, you have to find the cause, think about why is it happenning, analyse it and take the root action.
  • Always get to the root of the cause and solve it- talk less and do more.

How to Solve Problems Effectively

  • learn to spend 80% spend time on the solution and only 20% time on the problem
  • ask yourself- whats the quickest way I can turn this turnaround?
  • Remember your brain can handle any kind of problems if you ask it an effective question.
  • Dont get overwhelm- stay out of overwhelm.
  • Learn to associate massive pain to overwhelm.
  • Manage your own state of mind.
  • Make sure your focus is right- write the problem down, find the solution and focus on it.
  • Come out with your best solution and take immediate action.
  • Remember to carry on with the momentum.
  • If what you are trying is not working, then change your approach.
  • Keep asking yourself questions- what would happen if I tried this, or tried that?- you have to create more possibilities and options.
  • Be open to options and possibilities.
  • Ask others form advice, ask others questions.
  • get out of your comfort zones and increase your circle of influence.
  • the purpose of problems is to make you Expand and Grow.
  • problems are part of life, and it is for them that life goes on.
  • Ask yourself following questions:
  • *What's great or good about this?
  • **What could be great or good about this?
  • ***What's not perfect yet?
  • ****What am I willing to do to make it the way I want it?
  • *****What am I willing to no longer do to make it the way I want it?
  • ******How can I do necessarily to get this job done and simultaneously enjoy the process?

How to handle Fears

  • There is fear of failure
  • There is fear of success
  • FEAR= FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL
  • A coward dies a thousand deaths, a courageous man only once!
  • You have to make better rules and beliefs of success, life, relationships, happiness to handle fear better.
  • Our own core beliefs generate emotions and thoughts- so if you change your beliefs then it will result in change in how you handle fear.
  • Make sure you are in control, not controlled by the external environment, otherwise you will always be in fear, problems, turbulence and despair.
  • The Past doesnot equal the future.
  • All that matter is what are you going to do RIGHT NOW.
  • Change your physiology for better, change the way you move, posture, breathing, speech, language.
  • Get out of comfort zones- do new stuff, different stuff, involve others, ask others for help, do things rapidly, go for a change, use public transport.
  • Identify your pattern, observe, Change your pattern, break the pattern, create pace and speed.
  • Ask yourself what can I learn from this and move on.
  • Decide you will not allow feeling of rejection to decide the outcome, impact, effect of your life.
  • What will the price you will have to pay if you do not allow the feelings of rejection to be controlled?
  • What are the benefits and gains you will get if you accept and let go the feeling of rejection?
  • Also the Past doesnot equal the future.
  • Rejection does not mean NO, it means NOT YET.
  • Condition yourself- make yourself feel completely unstoppable, strong, great, powerful- feel it, breathe it, do it, imagine it, think it!!
  • It is your perception of himself that how everyone, friends, family, relationships, the world responds to you.
  • Whenever you fail or get rejected make a note of what you have benefitted from it.

What would I do if I had million dollars?

What would I do if I had all the money in the world?

Everything first starts in the imagination, then it is converted and build into reality

There are two ways of getting out of the current work. One way is to take but little interest in what you are doing, aiming merely to do enough with which to "get by." Very soon you will find a way out, because the demand for your services will cease.

The other and better way is by making yourself so useful and efficient in what you are now doing that you will attract the favorable attention of those who have the power to promote you into more responsible work that is more to your liking.
It is your privilege to take your choice as to which way you will proceed.

we need not seek opportunity in the distance; that we may find it right where we stand! THIS IS A TRUTH WELL WORTH REMEMBERING!

The most outstanding of these weaknesses which stand between men and women and success are INTOLERANCE, CUPIDITY, GREED, JEALOUSY, SUSPICION, REVENGE, EGOTISM, CONCEIT, THE TENDENCY TO REAP WHERE THEY HAVE NOT SOWN, and the HABIT OF SPENDING MORE THAN THEY EARN.

the "Master Mind," meaning a mind that is developed through the harmonious co-operation of two or more people who ally themselves for the purpose of accomplishing any given task

no man has a chance to enjoy permanent success until he begins to look in a mirror for the real cause of all his mistakes- Napolean Hill

Abhishek- anger, lack of self-awareness, lack of self knowledge, immaturity, time...

Your definite chief aim in life should be selected with deliberate care, and after it has been selected it should be written out and placed where you will see it at least once a day, the psychological effect of which is to impress this purpose upon your subconscious mind so strongly that it accepts that purpose as a pattern or blueprint that will eventually dominate your activities in life and lead you, step by step, toward the attainment of the object back of that purpose.

Be sure that your definite purpose is constructive; that its attainment will bring hardship and misery to no one; that it will bring you peace and prosperity, then apply, to the limit of your understanding, the principle of self-suggestion for the speedy attainment of this purpose.

The principle of psychology through which you can impress your definite chief aim upon your subconscious mind is called Auto-suggestion, or suggestion which you repeatedly make to yourself.

do not "tell" the world what you can do- "show" it!!

any idea you firmly fix in your subconscious mind, by repeated affirmation, automatically becomes a plan or blueprint which an unseen power uses in directing your efforts toward the attainment of the objective named - in the plan.

the principle through which you may fix any idea you choose in your mind is called Auto-suggestion, which simply means a suggestion that you give to your own mind.

"if you want something done well, call on a busy person to do it. busy people are generally the most painstaking and thorough in all they do"

"the one who does not advance shows clearly, by the look on his face, by the posture of his body, by the lack of briskness in his step, by the uncertainty with which he speaks, that he lacks Self-confidence. No one is going to pay much attention to the person who has no confidence in himself"

"you are a human magnet and you are constantly attracting to you people whose characters harmonize with your own"

"the nickels, pennies, dimes which the average person allows to slips through his fingers would if systematically saved and properly put into work eventually brings financial independence"

"quit the habit of buying on credit"

"pay off your debts gradually" and keep your debts low or null.

"the spending habit must be replaced by saving habit for all those who strive for financial independence"
